Accessibility
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we do: verdicts are never shown by colour alone — every badge has a text label and an icon; text meets AA contrast; everything works with a keyboard and shows a visible focus; there is a skip link; tap targets are at least 44 by 44 pixels; pages work at 360 pixels wide and at 200% zoom; tables reflow on small screens; the checker announces results to screen readers; motion is reduced when your device asks for it; lake pages work without JavaScript.
Known limits: lake outlines are simplified pictures with a text table of ramps and coordinates beside them; PDFs are tagged where our generator allows, and every PDF's content is also on the website.
Problems? Use 'Report an error on this page' and describe the barrier.
