Terms of use and sale

1. Who we are. lakepennsylvania.org ('PA Lake Rules Atlas', 'we') is an independent publisher operated by WeldonPC (Ohio), 5829 Turney Road, Garfield Heights, OH 44125, which is also the seller of everything sold on this site. We are not a government agency and are not affiliated with or endorsed by the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers or the Pennsylvania Game Commission.

2. Not legal advice. Our pages are summaries of public regulations and agency pages, with quotations and links. They are not legal advice. The official text and the signs posted at the lake control. Rules change; check the official text and posted signs before you launch.

3. No warranty. The site, its data and all products are provided 'as is', without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

4. Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent the law allows, WeldonPC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for fines, penalties or losses arising from use of the site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the product the claim concerns.

5. Using the site. You may read, share, print and link to our pages. Our rule summaries data is offered under CC BY 4.0 (see Data & methodology). Ramp data belongs to the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission; quoted regulations belong to their publishers. Don't scrape the site in bulk; use the downloads.

6. Buying. You must be 18 or older to buy or to list a business. Prices are in US dollars and are set when you check out. Payment is processed by PayPal and paid to WeldonPC (weldon@weldonpc.com). We do not see or store your card details.

7. Printable Edition. A one-time purchase of the PDF. For 12 months from purchase you may re-download the newest edition; after that, the edition current at month 12. For your personal use; don't resell or republish it.

8. My Boat's Lakes. A one-time personal report generated from the inputs you enter, frozen at purchase. Re-download for 14 days; regenerate from your saved inputs in your library.

9. Sponsored listings and sponsorships. Listings and sponsorships are advertisements. Their content is supplied by the advertiser, is self-reported, and is not verified or endorsed by us. Each runs 365 days from activation and then ends unless renewed. Renewals extend from the later of today and your current end date, at the price for the page's tier at renewal. Listings must follow the Sponsored policy. We hide a listing automatically when readers on three different networks report it within 30 days, or when its website fails our daily check for 14 days in a row; your remaining paid time pauses while it is hidden and resumes when you edit or confirm it. We may refuse or remove content that breaks the policy.

10. Refunds.

    • Digital products and listings are final once delivered or activated.
    • Failed delivery: if we can't deliver a purchase after three automatic retries, we email you a credit code for the full amount.
    • Duplicate payment: if you pay twice for the same order, we automatically add another term to a listing or sponsorship, or email a credit code of equal value for a PDF.
    • Refunds and reversals through PayPal: any refund or reversal, including a partial one, ends the related download links, listing or sponsorship immediately and voids credit codes the order created. Repeated reversals may stop future purchases.
    • No refund for listings hidden because of policy breaks, reader reports or a dead website link — editing or confirming the listing restores it with its remaining time — or for listings you remove yourself.

11. Disputes. Payment disputes are handled by PayPal under its rules.

12. Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

13. Changes. We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Purchases are governed by the terms in effect when you bought.
